I've never found a diagram either. The long vacuum line comes from a "T" off the cruise control line.

The short one goes to that water valve mounted on the bracket at passenger firewall. The coolant 'always' flows to heater core...except when you have the temp on the dash set to 65*, then the vsv gets power to shut off the water flow.

for a bit colder a/c operation.
