FD3S vs. MK1V Supra

Hey, i'm wondering about your opinions for these cars.

I might be looking to eventually get one of them.
I have never, however, driven a mk4, while many of you own them and regularily drive and maintain them.

your opinions please

what are your plans for the car?
both cars got thier good and bad side

to me the two car are on a diffrent level and diffrent classes

the rx7 is a pretty balanced car,
i have driven both and raced both car myself
sucks i cant afford to buy neither one of them

as much as i love the mk4 i gotta say
the rx7 is a better car except for one fatal flaw, the motor

which what makes the mk4, the desirable car that it is, bcuz of its motor

rx7 nice and balanced, high redline, really can push it thru turns
lighter chassis, as if it was made for autocross, and road courses
and you need to look for a shop that knows what to do with a rotary motor

mk4, strong motor, heavy chassis, but feels more safe on high speeds
can achieve a lot of horses when/if desired, could easily be daily driven
uses pistons, which most shops knows how to work with,
lots of aftermarket support, but comes with a higher price tag than the rx7
but a keeper if u can get your hands on one
since i have found rx7's that sell on the 20k - 30k range
last time i looked around, supras are (at least good ones) still on the 30k+ range

i gotta place my vote for the supra,

It would be used basically as a daily driver, maybe a bit of sideways action, but I got an s13 to drift at the track

Actually, I live in Canada, where next year jdm mk4s can be imported, and we can already import fds. That means prices are nice and low!

well, for me, neither of them should be a daily driver, more like a weekend car
but if im gonna drive sumthing everyday, i would drive the supra
