2 Cylce oil question
It is an educated question that I wanted to ask some of you guys. A while back I had a RX7, and I would run 1 ounce of 2 cycle oil with every 2 or 3 gallons of gas. Some say it lubricates the apex seals better, and some say don't do it. Only reason I used it was, because my friend has had 3 RX7's and is a rotary mechanic and he uses it, so I thought if a rotary mechanic tries it it must be okay. So I wanted to know if it worked on a rotary engine What will happen in a piston type engine? Would it hurt any thing to run a little 2 cycle oil in a blazer, or an old Cadillac? I thought it might help restore compression, like when you put some oil in the spark plug hole when compression testing.

if your engine is burning oil, i fill the crank with 2 stoke oil, smokes a lil less and doesnt foul the plugs as fast.
