job question
I have a friend who cuts meat at food lion, and he make pretty good money like around $13 a hour. I wanted to know if anyone knows if you have to have experience to work in the meat cutting department? Or can you just learn as you go like any other job? And is the pay really that good? I just lost my job a little while ago. I have been doing some temp jobs, but if it really is that good pay, and you don't really need experience, then I would not mind working there for a while until I finish college, maybe even longer than that.

So I know you posted this a while ago but you generally don't need much experience. It does help to be familiar with the different cuts of meat and how to cut custom orders (in the sense that, for example, a customer wants a butterflied leg of lamb). |
