12 Volt Jump Box
I wanted to know if anyone bought a harbor freight car jump box and liked it? My brother bought one yesterday, so I wanted to know if it will last. Also can you charge them inside a apartment or should you use a garage for ventilation? I don't know if the battery will emit gases when charging, so I wanted to ask. I think they might be like the batteries used in RC cars and stuff. But he lives in a apartment, so I did not know what to tell him when he said should I charge it in the home.

It depends entirely on the type of battery. Unless the manual indicates otherwise... NO; especially not in an apartment.
