The world temperature is moving up with every single minute. The main culprit of this has been the carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere. These emissions are caused by the combustion of fossil fuels during the production of energy. The fossil energy is used to produce electricity.

For the development of the economy and industry, electricity is essential. Depending on the fossil fuel for the fulfillment of electricity needs is not a viable option. To curb this high dependence on fossil fuels, there is a need to shift towards renewable energy resources. Energy produced from such eco-friendly sources is also termed as 'green energy', are non-polluting and friendly to the Earth's environment.
