omg i cant believe someone did this....
just thank god it wasnt on a supra, but anyone want a custom PVC intake manifold? it can be done, pics at post 26........
http://forums.fourtitude.com/showthr...of-performance. ive only seen the pvc intercooler piping in person on one vehicle, a 89 turbo caravan, complete with glued elbows. some people i tell ya however his idea of an a/c powered intake cooler might be on to something.....ill have to get my drinking cap and my thinking glass out and do some experiments with intake coolers one night |
Hmm, well since I'm bored as s4!t & read that whole thread I'll chance my arm & say that it's not all bad in principle. Especially if you really really wanted the last word in weight saving (and had already ground off body seams, non-structural panelwork, removed unused captive nuts, shaved the windscreen & fitted tyres with a skim of tread left filled with helium...)
Basically it's not as bad an idea as it seems, just a bit pointless. :outahere: |
