omg i cant believe someone did this....
just thank god it wasnt on a supra, but anyone want a custom PVC intake manifold? it can be done, pics at post 26........
http://forums.fourtitude.com/showthr...of-performance. ive only seen the pvc intercooler piping in person on one vehicle, a 89 turbo caravan, complete with glued elbows. some people i tell ya however his idea of an a/c powered intake cooler might be on to something.....ill have to get my drinking cap and my thinking glass out and do some experiments with intake coolers one night

Hmm, well since I'm bored as s4!t & read that whole thread I'll chance my arm & say that it's not all bad in principle. Especially if you really really wanted the last word in weight saving (and had already ground off body seams, non-structural panelwork, removed unused captive nuts, shaved the windscreen & fitted tyres with a skim of tread left filled with helium...)
Basically it's not as bad an idea as it seems, just a bit pointless.
