Got a Celica to keep Supra company! :)
Got me a '98 Celica 1.8ST in black to keep the Supra company on the drive. Skinted myself getting it, but what a nice selfish Christmas pressie!!!

Great cars! Reliable great interior design and you can swap in a 3S-GTE pretty easily (HINT!).
Enjoy the new ride!

lol love the hint, specially as the 1.8ST's 7A-FE motor kicks out 15bhp LESS than a bone stock ford escort 1.8Si estate...
what's the deal with that then anyone? 114bhp from a 1.8 multipoint Toyota lump running tubular manifolds (surely a hint at sporting credentials?) as stock??? Still I'm not complaining since the car's bone stock down to the unused spare & toolkit, cleaner than kleenex (line stolen from vanishing point for those who aren't true petrolheads haha), has virtually full service history for it's 122k miles including recent cambelt, oil/filters service, battery & tyres... In fact the only blemishes I can find are a fingernail sized scab on the left rear arch, typically small snag on driver's seat bolster & if I'm gonna be really really picky a couple of the alloy wheel centre logos are coming unstuck a little & the engine bay is a bit grubby So, a car in that sorta condition over here seems to be routinely fetching upwards of ?1200 privately & ?1500 forecourt... soooo, what did I pay?
