91 1jz supra vs 512TR
 

i was drivin down rt 78 west the other day in my 1jz supra comin back from skool, and i in the left lane i saw a red 512TR (ferrari testarossa v12, i believe), i dint really have plans to race, but he was going about 75-80mph, i only wanted a closer look so i sped up and when i let of of the throttle..my bov went off, i tried to let it out slow...but haha it still made the loud *whoosh* sound, i dint see they guy cause his windows were tinted, but he just guns it..you hear the motor just growl and he gets like two cars ahead before he slows down so i catch up, then he revs the motor and drops down to 65 and honks the horn and downshifts, so me being the curious one i slow to 65 and downshift also because i wanted to see how fast this thing really was...i thought i could keep up, so he honks and on three we hit the throttle, and i dont know wut the hell he had in that car or if that car is really that fast, but it was gone after i shifted to the next gear, like it was gone, i kept up about car length behind until 115...and i dont know if he was playin with me or not, but after 115 he gunned it and he was out, shit was scary cause i never got beat that badly before and i know my car aint slow and i know i dont suck at driving....im sad now i just got killed, joel i know you probably saw this on the other forum, but i just wanted to share this sad story on a sad day with some fellow cronies

hey man its all good. i was gonna try to race a viper i saw one day...and thats my story! i tried to catch up but he was weaving through traffic like a mad man and i couldnt move up. saw him go back and fourth 1...then again, and a 3rd time, so i was like poop... i just wanted to do something dumb and say i raced a viper:( poor me... didnt get smoked by a viper

I had a 300ZX with some mods (Twin Turbo)... and once I was gonna race a Toyota Celica Turbo, japanese, right hand drive and everything, with mods.. I waste the guy.. then we stop at a light, and we're planning on racing again, going straight.. but to my left, a Mercedez Benz E55 AMG 2005, black, kinda looks at me. It had about 4 people in it I noticed (so had I! My Z was 2+2 and I was with my girlfriend, my sister and her husband, boyfriend at that time).. I decide to race that one as I had destroyed the Turbo Ceica, so we turn left... and we race.. and oh my word! It was the worst beaten I ever got. I then looked it up and realized I had raced a 470HP beast with a 5.5liter supercharged V8, and I was at only 10 psi boost... =(

dude, no i did not see it in the other forum, but ill look now..

if your refering to the 12 sec 92' ferrari, i would not feel sad at all, hes got 6 more cyls than you.. that car is 300lbs lighter with the same hp as you.. his clutch alone is 12-15k just to replace at the dealer.. his gears are alot taller too, look at his top end speed....

yea....toyotas are nice....though i think they really need a nice good rwd sports car right now....not including the is....or that garbage ass mr2 spyder they got now
