Buying a Silverado.

Were buying a Silverado 2000. My family went to take a look at it while I was in class. I would of checked my self if it had Vortec but I couldent go with them. So does any one know if the 4.8L V8 has Vortec?

yes, all the new chevy V8 engines from 1999 up are vortec
