ok my freind got a 2008 ford mustang today its a v6 5spd and he wants to race me so i was gonna ask who yall think will win i tihnk it will be close. i have a 88 supra with a 7mge with a obx header and all new 2 1/2 exhaust with no cat i have an aftermaket air filer and new bosch two prong spark pulgs and new wires and thats about it for mods its got a 5 spd so i was wonderin who you think will win his mustang is all stock by the way

Assuming the mustang is a good driver he will probably beat you.

if your car had a turbo with a full 3" exhaust, it could take him easy. stock turbo vs stock v6 mustang, itd be close but the supra would get it.

non turbo vs v6....wont happen. sorry =\ itll be fun anyways though.

I drive a lot of mustangs at the shop, most are v6. They have lots of bottom end torque, so they holeshot very good.

But.....they are very sloppy on the curves. Set up the race on a very windy road.

Do you have TEMS?? If so, set it to sport, and you can take that mustang.

Practice driving fast on curvy roads first. Learn how the backend feels, and when it will break loose (spinout).

What kind of race is it?
I assumed it was gonna be a drag race until mr.nickley mentioned corners

If its a Drag Race, the mustang will still win.
