I just purchased my first Supra an 89 Turbo 5spd. My intention is to use it as an SCCA Solo car.
The car is mostly suffering from cosmetic issues but does have a minor oil leak which I will track down on Thursday. But my question is this: What is the least expensive build on the engine (upper and lower) that will help me achieve around 300 at the RW? Also, consider the fact that I will need to maximize the pull in the lower gears without sacrificing too much traction. Also the shocks are a little softer than I'd like. Using the normal/sport modes helps some but I will need to replace shocks. Should I go with the OEM or purchase Tokikos (open to suggestions on brands and styles)? Thanks

I have Kyb Gr2 shocks/struts with Eibach springs. I think its a good setup personally.
