was that minolta racing at bathurst????

still it has Jspec indicators and series two front nose cone...hence my hurried conclusion that it was a 1j

suprra_girl 10-13-2004 09:41 PM

i'm not totally sure what raced where but i do know that 1j's were never raced
86,88 = narrow body (pancake) preface bumpers and lights and dash etc with 230hp motor and the 1ggte 210hp
87 widebody aero all options 7mgte, 1ggte, preface bumpers and lights but some interior styling upgraded
late 89-92 facelift bumpers, lights 7mgte, 1ggte, 1jzgte
altho i believe they stopped producing the 7m engine i think they had thousands left over so hence why they got chucked into the 89-92's along with the 1jz and 1ggte ;)

not all facelift cars are 1jz's B)

MA70-1JZ 11-01-2004 10:29 AM

that wasnt why i said it had a 1j, i know that not all facelift models have a 1j....i was more interested in the fact that it had the J-spec parker/indicator assembly.

suprra_girl 11-01-2004 11:15 AM

what do you consider jspec assembly? maybe im not familar with your terms
