i swapped an 86 motor into an 89 chassis, im sure it is different but just wanted to clarify that i was not saying i put an 89 motor into an 86 chassis

you will have to switch the distributors ,they have diff. plugs on the harness, along with a couple other sensors cant think of them off the top of my head and really you should not have to change...

hi i am fairly new to this forum i have had help on a few thing from you guys before i have an 89 supra and an 86 i took the motor out of the 86 and put it into my 89 i replaced the water pump...

i really just dont want to change the harness and i already have one engine striped down so i figured it would be easier to just swap the block and head

they are both ge so it looks like im good to go...

i have an 89 supra with a bad crank in it and i also have an 86 supra both na could i just swap the block and head from my 86 into my 89 without having to change electronics? pretty much just motor...
