sooo how would i tell if it is for the 7mgte. cuz the outside sticker says 7mgt....but then theres writing on it saying 89 supra turbo. is there any way beside the sticker to tell which one is which

ecu number
Sooo I have a part number on the outside case of the ecu that says 175000-1491....on the main board there's this number....175031-1380.....
Now the case says 7mgt m/t.....but in marker it says 89...

So where's the best but cheapest place to get a replacement coil....also ia the mass airflow sensor necessary. How to bypass that, what part are interchangeable, how do I tell if I have thw 7m-gte...

See that's what im kinda getting at. Why would the n/a run a regular ignition system, but the the boosted engine run a dis system. They both basically so the same shit, except the dis run more shit.

not entirly. i got a buttload of extra parts...basically finishing someone elses work. and i have the cps but no coils.....so i guess my question is would it run using the dizzy instead of the coils....

ignition question
Pretty simple....I know the 7mgte uses a dis system....will it run with the na dizzy in place of the cam sensor.....disregarding codes. Simple enough will it run.

I'm picking up a mk3 this afternoon, its got the 7m in it, what are some things i should pay attention to beside the normal shit
An by normal I mean, shaft play in the turbo, electrical, an blah...
