its a 97 Nissan 240sx, auto but decided to make it faster the only way i know : with a toyota motor when the car first came it had a ka24de motor, which could be built to standards but nothing can beat the motor thats gonna go replace it first few phases of the car clutch master cylinder were doing a 5spd conversion getting ready to cut-off the front bumper support for the intercooler greddy 3-row intercooler bumper support already cut mounted dead center another shot of the intercooler bumper a little bit modified to fit intercooler and somewhat hide it another shot with the intercooler and bumper on r154 trans with a 1jz bellhousing to fit bellhousing is brand new and the trans is almost as clean after 5 cans of brake cleaners another shot of the trans new aluminum lighweight pulleys installed new serpentine belt without the ac compressor

another shot also a new tensioner assembly a hallowed 240sx enginebay minus the crossmember,rack and pinion a see thru engine bay, and a scary sight for noobs this is what the car is gonna do off the line if we got as much power as we want another shot guess what motor is in the car now? working afterhours, not the best conditions if you know how cold it get around chicago during this time of the year around 50-55 degree outside with a little bit of wind but still working for the car more pictures to come soon when we get more progress

were trying to get it running by next week
waiting for a clutch ACT stage3 6puck we also installed a fidanza lighweight flywheel hopefully the nissan rearend is gonna handle the toyota power

here's a list of updates
we finally got the clutch installed, no pics of the clutch, it was raining and pretty cold last night and we were in hurry, we got the heater hoses in, wiring harness plugged fuel lines were mocked up but we still need to cut to size trans were bolted in engine sitting on its final spot next on the list clutch lines radiator cooling fans battery relocation to the rear intercooler pipings rpm sensor hook the power steering lines and other little stuff here's a few more pics of the engine
