Hello! New owner, and new to forum.
Hi. As the subject says I'm a new Supra owner, and new to the forum. I will probably be asking a lot of questions because my car is going to need some work, so I figured I should introduce myself and the vehicle.
I'm 26, live in Oregon, male, and my previous vehicle was a 240sx for the last 5 years or so. The car is a 1987 Turbo with a sport roof. It was sitting for about a year and a half. Changed the battery, the oil, started it right up, passed smog in California and survived the trip up to Oregon without a hitch. It has a horribly sun-damaged paint job(thanks Cali), and some uniquely acquired body damage. Apparently it was sitting in the old owners driveway, and a neighbor was pulling a stump with a truck, the chain broke, and the backlash is the cause. Poor Supra, but lucky me because I got it off the guys hands cheap! I guess he had to many projects, and didn't think to put it on the market before I asked to buy it. I'll probably be posting a separate thread with a bunch of questions about it. I'm off to peruse the threads for awhile though so hopefully i don't ask a bunch of stuff that's already been answered. Thanks in advance for any help the community might provide, and feel free to send me a message with any recommendations you might have for a new owner. |

I'm definitely looking for a fender, and driver door handle, among other things, but Florida is quite a haul for me
