Default Picked up my 2nd Supra!! HELP!!

OK so about 7 months ago I picked up a white pearl edition 1989 targa top and today picked up a 1985 MK II as another weekend driver. Both white! This 1985 MKII may need some engine work but I took a chance. Anyways being the overly excited dolt that I am I bought this car without looking CAREFULLY at the registration. This car was bought from registered owner but she has lost the pink slips. Fees are now paid but they say I have to get a lien satisfied note that has to be notarized from a dealership where she bought the car from. I'm thinking she may even own still on the car but I now find out this dealership is out of business. What to do? She was the last registered owner so can I get her to sign release of the car over to me?? I'm in a bind here anny help will be appreciated. Thanks

You can get a noterized bill of sale from her stating that you purchase the car this date @ this price and that the title was lost and you are now the new owner also call back the DMV to let them know that the dealership is no longer operational and look into file for a lost title from the court house.
