My old Mk3
Hello.
I?m new to this forum (and this is my first supra). It is a 1989 supra turbo that has a Holset HX55 turbo and an Eaton M90 supercharger. In its last dynorun it had 630whp and 840Nm. I bought it with this setup. I started with ripping the engine out because a "small" bearing problem. But i ordered a bunch of stuff from looseboltsmotorsport.com and started to build. Right now i?m painting the enginecompartment so the new engine will fit nicely in a shiny and beautiful enginebay. The car itself does not look that good yet, but during the long and boring winter it will be painted and rebuilt a bit on the outside aswell. But i?m thinking of having it looking a bit like this one instead (except i want a lower rear wing) Ah, i almost forgot the most important picture of all. Under the hood. =D Notice the small pulley under the alternator. Thats the little Eaton M90. It needs alot of work under the hood to look good. And if i get it the way i want it will produce 700whp. But right now i dont have a good crank, the one i had in the spare engine was a bit too bent to use in this "meaner machine"... Anyone in europe that wants to sell me a 7M crank??? Anyway, please say what you think of the car. Fell free to give me some advise on some funtional styling for it. I want it to look good, but still have function if you know what i mean? Cheers, Morgan from the snowy sweden. |

Thanks for the nice comments.
And about the hood, i?m thinking of another turbo and a new supercharger. And then (hopefully) everything will fit under the hood. Everything in the engine is now balanced, checked and doublechecked. It?s getting there. Cheers, Morgan. |
