picked up my first supra
 

hi everyone seen the board thought id join im really a hotrodder but several years back i spent a few years as a tech for a toyota dealer
and fell in love with a few toyotas the mk111 turbo supras and the first gen supercharged mr2 the elusive mr2 has slipped thru my hands a few times (prolly cuz im always looking to steal em away for cheap) but two nights ago i scored the supra i wanted a 87 turbo targa

the car has been sitting since 2000 so the tank is pretty nasty ive had to put 4 tires on her and waiting for the fuel pump to come off ebay and picking up a junkyard tank tommorow found her on craigslist for litterally the money i had in my pocket so i stole her away quick i was the first caller and the price became firm when 20 more joes called right after

definatly gonna need a little paint work but overall paint could be alot worse

figured id update finished the tank decided to put new injectors too and just clean up the whole fuel system i have been driving the supra and am absolutly in love with this car everything and i mean everything on this car works like it should (except the hood shocks ) i couldn't be happier now that i know i will never resell this car ill give up what i paid for it $500 off of craigslist i was the first of many callers and the guy held it for me till i got off work lookin forward to summer by then it will have new paint (by the way i need factory paint codes for the pearl white toyota used) and ber ready for cruzin with the top off

wow mine looked that good once. then i got hit on the frunt fender and now a crack head gasket only, i hope.
