lambo wings.. really?

other then that. I think the cherry blossoms are a bit jumbled. think you could of got a better affect from less crowded- ness. But i dig it.
I really dig it. now just get some endorsement stickers and your gtg.

dannys35 03-06-2010 02:45 PM

Sweet I like it alot!

DemonCrest 03-10-2010 08:56 AM

hmm... it's tough to really hit the initial feeling on the head that your car gave me.

Put it this way, minus the cherry blossoms and the lambo doors, I want to tell you that the black exterior on those black rims looks hella good. Those rims are really fitting, and the black on black makes it appeal even more, however... with the extras added on I think it loses it's appeal for me.

I could see you going hmmm I like the idea of the cherry blossoms, and getting that done (I personally think it's a good idea but could have been executed in a different style to achieve epicness), and then after that saying hmm what else... ah fuck this lets just go all out and slam lambo doors on it too.

My honest $0.02

TripleC 03-11-2010 03:58 PM

lose the cherry blossoms they dont make the car look good. What about the motor whats hiding under the hood any modifications??

Kim152 03-12-2010 11:27 AM

Thank you, guys!
Thank you for the your opinions.

I imaged the cherry blossom petals swirl.
It is said "Sakura Fubuki" in Japanese.

Lambo doors are looking-good but HEAVY.

Under the hood is no modification.
BLITZ Air cleaner, BLITZ Blow off valve, 5ZIGEN Exhaust, Strut bars and TEIN Shock absorbers.

Please forgive botchy English.

it seems like u ran thru a cherry blossom tree. anyway where did u get that nose from? and how much u pay?

Kim152 06-10-2010 08:03 AM

Racing nose, side skirt, rear under spoiler and tail garnish are REGULUS of Japan.
But shop was closed now.
My racing nose is used pre-product version.
It was about 15,000 JPY.

Refer to the http://www.mirai.ne.jp/~marcy/html/regulus.html

Engine room is dusty.
I haven't been cleaning it for 11 years.

87mk111 07-20-2010 08:46 AM

Those LED fogs are hot! Where did u get those??

I h8 Hondas 07-20-2010 06:17 PM

It would look better if you had just left it all black and not added the spoiler. I like the wheels though. The scissor doors would be nice in tight parking spots but I don't think the convenience is worth adding that much weight.

LED tapes were bought at the online car accessories shop in Japan. (2,800 JPY)
Product maker is unknown and made in China.
50cm 30LEDs is just fit in Gracer bumper.

Wheels are RacingHart Type CR (gunmetalic color) 18 inch.
I hate that UP the heavy door after tired by driving.

crobarr 08-02-2010 11:59 PM

UUUUUGLY!!!!! Lose the lambo-doors and the pink thingies all over it. Looks like a pimpmobile.

cre 08-06-2010 02:28 AM

I like the cherry blossom IDEA.... I too think there are too many though.

Personally, I always wanted to build custom rails and convert my MKIII to powered sliding doors... like on a minivan... hell, why not? They're about the same size. (Actually, I built scale models of a couple different designs for roller and track assemblies which would allow me to skip running a track along the rear fenders... but I lost motivation.)

It's popular pimpmobile with children.
Ha ha.

Sliding doors are what I call a 'brand-new idea'.

cre 08-08-2010 05:29 PM

Do you have more photos of the exterior? I would like to see how the cherry blossoms wrap around the rest of the car.

:crazy:hey...does anyone have any idea why the orange choke light and warning signal in my supra mkiv comes on while driving and goes off again by itself?

Don't derail someone's thread with a COMPLETELY unrelated post... Post in the MKIV discussion section. (Short answer, something your car's computer thinks is a significant problem is occurring at those moments.)

Now, back on topic:
Kim, now that I see the tree is there I like it even more, very cool.

Green7mgte 08-12-2010 02:46 PM

i bet those stickers were a pain in the arse to get up there..

the more i see it the more i like it.. any more information on the front grill and the fogs?

Green7mgte, What information do you want?

spikesnstuff0905 08-13-2010 03:15 AM

Looks awesome, bro. I was thinking of doing something like this but with maple leaves. I figure it would be better to find a good airbrush artist and have it done that way, though. It would probably cost you a kidney, but i can't imagine not washing behind my baby's ears just because of my paint job.:dunno:

Vinyl graphic cost was 300,000 JPY.
That on engine hood tore in running an expressway.
It was sad to see it :wtc:

They were only made for RHD MKIII's. Very hard to find and you pretty much have to destroy one and build your own from the remains.

2.5GT Twin Turbo Limited

Mark s 09-24-2010 10:58 PM

Different is nice.. :)

86.5 7MGE 09-25-2010 04:42 AM

Kim,

Now that I have seen majority of the car it's pretty awesome. With the first pic you posted of the car didn't provide justice as the detail of the paint job just showed up as pink spots. Once you gave us a close up of the detail it was terrific and made more since. Is there a way to lighten up your doors so that they won't be as heavy with the lambo kit in place? Again, great job!!!

Kim152 09-26-2010 02:02 PM

Thank you, Mark s and 86.5 7MGE.

Driver side door is heavy, but passenger side door is light.
Lambo kit uses a thick short and thin long dampers.
It lightens if dampers are replaced.
Shop replaced a thick short damper (the last one).
But fit thin long damper is not found.

crazysuprafinatic18 10-03-2010 11:22 PM

Kim152 10-03-2010 11:25 PM

crazysuprafinatic18,

REGULUS Racing Nose can't be found even in Japan at selling, auction, etc..
I think that obtaining is difficult.
