Default ideas for my mkiii?

Hi guys I myself am new to this forum and was wondering if i could get some helpful tips for my 88 mkiii. I got this car last summer up in seattle and brought it down to the 210. it had a bad knock, and the crank was shot. my dad and i put a good 7mge in. now that im out of high school i really want to begin the supra build I have always thought of doing. For my first car i really like the power it has but i want more. As of right now all iv gotten for it is a set of khumos. Any little upgrade tips is appreciated, thanks. ohh and im pretty sure that im running rich, so any help on that??

I have a 88 and 90. There are no real tips really, other than read/research/plan. Tons of info in here and there are other Supra forums on the net with a lot of technical info is needed.

Prior to doing anything, ask what people think about that one specific question. (easier to get info that way)

Very hard to advise someone on what they should do without knowing:
a. what thier goal is
b. what their approximate budget is
c. what their base car is

not sure if that helps.. but it might start a conversation

btw.. this is the show and tell area.. so pictures please

If you have a technical question (about the fuel being rich), put it in the MKIII technical area (scroll down in the main form area)

Very true. I have an 88 7mge base model and to be honest I dont really have a set goal for the car yet. As of right now I am not planning to do anything for the 7mge except for the cold air intake. Either K&N or Blitz Sonic Power not sure.

Im leaning towards buying the 1jzgte with the R154 tranny (in the saving process lol) and pretty much keeping it stock. Im thinking about it because the car is leaking oil from the valve gaskets (which I've already replaced), oil pan and somewhere from my transmission as well.

As for pictures.. I'll put some up lol.

hey man , you said that you replaced the gasket from the valve cover already and it still leaking oil? thats weird. first thing you have to do its to breath in and breath out a couple of times and be patience with the lady or beast "what ever you call it" take one step at the time, thats good that you know were its leaking from. try to find a gasket kit and start replacing all the easy ones first and verify for the vacum hoses. the 7mge its a good engine to drive around. theres a lot of do and not to do on this forum, search around and like he said " theres a lot of topic you might want to read . Good luck with the project and enjoy your ride!!!!! Q
