Very nice find! Congrats. So you'll be wanting that username changed soon or do you still have the MKIII? lol!
Just $32K? IIRC, I think my '93 MR2 Turbo cost more when I bought it new... :eek3: |
Very nice! so jealous.

Thanks guys! LOL. Nope no more mk3. Sold It for 6500. In order to buy this one. Took a couple months to track one down that wasn't chopped up, stolen, or way overpriced. The only one comparable with mileage but twin turbo was 25k. So I decided to go the little bit harder route but cleaner in the end.
My plans with the car is as folows. (Note. Everything I am gonna do to this car I am goin to keep every single oem stock bolt and any parts removed with pictures of where the part went and a label so if I ever need to return to oem stock I could easily. No holes will be drilled unless completely necessary.) Going to run a driftmotion 60-1 turbo na-t kit. It is the same kit I ran on my 1jz and couldn't of been happier with it. Although with this one bein that I am keeping it auto I will opt for the smaller .58 Ar hotside instead of the .70 it had to much lag in my opinion especially for a street vehicle. My power goals are moderately low so my reliability will remain intact for many miles to come. Max whp 400. Replacing stock oem fuel pump with walbro intank. Running 660cc injectors In stock rail. Just running an AFC Neo to tune. (again jus a street vehicle) Running a driftmotion Fmic with SS piping. Tsw strip 19x10.5 rear 19x9.5 fronts. Wrapped in nitto 555 tires basically a 5 Point wheel with black center and a custom painted white lip!. Invidia n1 full exhaust with driftmotion downpipe stock cat. A single 12" subwoofer in sealed box jvc arsenal with forgave 1k amp for a lil boom boom. That's about all including a full tune by myself done on a dynojet. And trust me this wont happen over night. But plan on it all within 2yrs. All work is goin to be taken with ut most care possible. |
Car is currently parked and covered in garage for the winter.. only got 300 miles on it myself. :/
