Default New member, can I introduce myself here? :)

Hey guys,

New member here, and to be honest I've never been much into the Supra scene. I drive an 04 Pontiac GTO with a cam, long tube headers, BC Racing coilovers, a short throw shifter, and I tuned the whole thing with HP Tuners. That's really where my scene is...

I picked up an 89 Supra, turbo + targa + 5sp a while back thinking I was going to get into that scene. I really like the car a lot, but I came across a steal of a deal on an 84 RX7 and scooped it up and am well under way swapping a 5.3L iron block V8 into it now. I swapped the heads and intake manifold on it, opened up the ring gap, and hope to make 700ish hp on it with a big 80mm turbo. I realized that was going to be a lot easier than learning a new platform...

Anyway, I've been poking around here for a while trying to figure out the few odds and ends that the Supra needs. Biggest one is a power steering leak, which I have semi-internet diagnosed and semi-real life diagnosed to the copper crush washers on the hard lines that go into the rack, so kudos to you guys for helping me out on that.

I'm President of the Clemson Sports Car Club, and we put on autocrosses 4-5 per semester. If you're anywhere between the Upstate SC area, western NC, Atlanta, or Charlotte, you should come check us out sometime- we have people drive from all of those places to our events once a month. We're going to Atlanta Dragway next Friday (10/25), if you're interested PM me and I can get you in 1/2 off!

Anyway, here's the car...
