Yes, Ive driven several a/4wd vehicles in the snow. Most notably, A subaru wagon, I forget which kind. It was all over the place. The best thing ive ever driven in the snow was a v6 dodge caravan. It was awesome. And i dont mean literally spin out, But get sideways. And besides, The thing i said about tires is true. Now matter how many wheels are driven you still only have 4 tires keeping you on the road. And i never said awd was bad neccesarily, But fwd does better. Its just such a big misconception that since you have 4wd you are totally safe in the snow.

lmao. how completely untrue of a statement. FWD < AWD. forever and always. There's no disadvantages to driving all 4 wheels except for drivetrain losses.
Take the V6 Caravan, and I'll take my Subaru. Bring 'em out in a snowstorm and I'll run circles around you. AWD isn't just to get you unstuck. It's 100% traction all the time. |

hahaha i would too i would take pictures and date it if his tires were bald, cause thats not right on the cops part just caust he spun out doesnt mean he was driving recklessly, its obvious something happened to cause him to do that. was it a state trooper of county cop? sounds like a state trooper to me.

Im not talking about forward traction. if your car is sliding sideways, as in your cars nose being perpendicular to the direction of travel, your 4wd isnt going to do anything different than 2 or no wheel drive. Thats what im trying to say. Most people arent going to go out in the snow and drag race. And I know how well awd works, my daily driver is a 95 awd talon, And yes I love the awd. Its such a big imporvment in traction over my supras. Even thou I just got it so I havent driven it in the snow, Im not just saying things without expereince.

And yes, Cops will give you tickets for retarted crap like that. Especially in the rain, they love to give you carless and wreckless tickets for things that are totally accidental. Like when i crashed my buick, they gave me a wreckless driving ticket, with no witnesses and no proof, So i took it to court and got it "dropped" with no points and a 250$ fine + court cost. Way to drop it!
