sorry for bringin up an old post but what are historic tags?

Chambers 03-03-2008 01:32 AM

Historic tags for MD will exempt your vehicle from emissions and inspections. The catch is that it must be at-least 20 years old and it cannot be driven every day.

plus insurance is cheaper :). i have the tags for two years, after which i think ill just get regular tags, sell my acura, and drive the supra everyday. im getting some more small things in for the supra. almost have the gauges in. when im done ill take some pics. im also planning to replace my hg and install some headstuds so i can turn the boost up and not worry about anything.

here in mo your car has to be 25yo o well its my only car anyway so i would have to drive it and im going NA-T in the near future so im going to be driving everyday

white on during the day and red at night. prosport ftw. and something i discovered installing the oil filter relocation kit, coolant in the oil. looks like im going to be replacing my hg, luckily i was planning to do it already

Nice, could you get a pic of the entire dash with the new guages in the shot?

Looks as if they fit pretty good.

Sucks bout your HG, but good to hear your getting a new one.

j3pz 04-01-2008 10:39 PM

ill try to remember to get a shot the whole dash. my camera is being sent in to be worked on, it eats batteries for some reason. i think i also need to replace my battery in my car; after installing the gauges my battery kept draining. im ordering a felpro hg kit, timing belt and tensioner from my buddy at advanceauto and arp headstuds and a catch can from ftmfw driftmotion. so after i get everything and do some more research ill dig into the motor. still needing a paint job; my friend is gonna help paint my integra, and if its decent i might have him help paint the supie
