Haha, I owned police last night at 3 am. It snowed like 4 or 5 inches here, and me and my friend went to mcdonalds and then were driving around getting sideways and stuff, and 2 cops rolled up on us with theri lights off. My friend (awd eagle talon) just turns down toward my house and runs easily, but I had it a little harder in my mr2. But apparently it can go throw snow better than a cop car! i had it up to 70 mph in the snow lol. But needless to say, the cops couldnt keep up, and we met up later on at my house (my friend, not the cops). Was a pretty big rush, and wish i got a video. They rolled up on us and we couldnt even see them till they were about 100 yards away, and i was like fuck!! and started to go, and then he saw them just after that. lol. I even got a chance to drive the wrong way down 36(4 lane highway) which helped me out a lot cause the cops were hesitant to follow me in the wrong lane, but they did anyway (and for the web police, there was no cars or even plow or salt trucks for milesss, so the only ones in danger were ourselves which doesnt really matter)

kinda sucks, we have to explain this to pple now, everytime we race or run away from po-pos

but i got pulled over tonite (snowed nicely here), cuz my supra kept going sideways everytime i stepd on the gas
do i jus have a sign on the back of my car or something that says: pull me over?
the funny thing is, he askd me how fast was i going
my reply: well my speedo says i was doing 55, but idk how fast i was actually going.
then he said i was "fishtailing" on purpose
so i said, if you can help me so my car wont,please tell me
cuz i really jus wanna go drive in a straight line
he ddnt do much
jus the regular, driver's license,insurance,anything illegal on you car type of stuff,
but no ticket issued

Had my first real race against a Mitsi VR4 (dunno if you guys have em in the states...?)
His car was pretty modded too.

Absolutley smoked him from standing start to about 140kph.

what do u have doen to ur car? stock those things run liek high 13's

standard mods (7MGTE)- full 3" exhaust (no restrictions) with 3" elbow from turbo, K&N pod filter, with cold ducting. Runs mint : )

Did you jump off the line?
You said a mitsu vr4
So it could either be the vr4 galant
Or the vr4 3000gt
Last time I checkd they both have all-wheel drive
Its pretty hard to beat awd with our rwd off the line, cuz they're always gonna get the lead from a stand still
Unless you jumped you can't beat the vr4 off the line,
This is me assuming that this was a streetrace, and both cars were driving with street tires
There's only a few situations that a rwd can beat a awd off the line
1 awd ddnt move
2 awd had street tires and the rwd had slicks
3 guy with the awd was a dee dee dee
And wasn't paying attention,
4 he had a reaction time of a person with a coma

I'm really not trying to talk you down but
I have seen a lot of awd vs rwd races
If the rwd wins its bcuz of top-end speed

haha, na he was onto it, and knew exactly what was going on!

To be fair it was more of a rolling start - we were both sitting next to each other at the lights - when they went green we didnt launch off the line, he kept up to about 40 - 50kph, he looked over at me and booted it. My reaction was slower but smoked him none the less.

his car was a VR4 legnum wagon btw (galant)

he was no competition.

True - standing start may have been different story, but i still would have easily caught him.

Well a running start is a diffrent story
I believe supras still hold the bragging rights for that one, since top-end speed is what we can brag about the most
But I try to stay away from racing awd cars
But I will still race them for fun only!!!
