Default nothing spectacular.. but honda got smoked by a truck

so on my way home from work today i ended up racing an F-250 and a civic off the line, civics wheels a chirpin, then dissapeared in our mirrors.. it was a chick drivin too... then it was me and the Big Ford, so i got him by a bit and when we pulled up to next red light he had a big smile on his face asking if it was a 6? i nodded yeah and he said sweet right on man, gave me the big thumb up .. and you never know with some trucks cause i was driving my ex g/f's honda which get's like 12+ sec 0-60 and some diesel dodge smoked me, so ever since then i've kinda been cautious lol.. damn honda pwr makes me scared, good thing im rollin this now.. cant wait till rainy season to practice drifting again.

Damm I just got beat by 03 srt-4. It was driving at around 55mph and then my friend pulled up to my side in his srt-4, then we both nailed it at the same time, he quickly put two cars and a half on me. The second run was around 60mph and the same thing happend. So i got beat by two cars and a half.

MOds on srt-4
Stock (his blow off valve sound freaking loud)

Mods My car Supra 89 TUrbo automatic
Intake
3" open downpipe
running about 7 psi of boost
I need to rewire my knock sensors and fix my fuel pump(low pressure).

I actually think I didnt do to bad considering i had 2 passangers one who weighs 150 pounds and another one who weighs 200 pounds and my big 15" subwoofer in my trunk. Hopefully when I take out my system, fix my fuel pump and knock sensor and im alone in the car, I can do better.

The only ones I really took mental note of were my first and my last race. All rolling (from 50 mph) because I cant speed shift first to second .. that grinds the gears so I have to let off to shift.

First one... 200x Mustang (beautiful yellow beasty) smoked windows, no idea who was driving... very first real run in my Supra. He came up beside me and I was in 5th gear just coasting. Then he gunned it and I thought.. hmm.. I wonder. Downshifted into 3rd, pegged the throttle (instant boost- woot!) and started catching up. I watched him shift twice while I was still in 3rd, and I was beside him, I hit 4th gear and started pulling away, and at 5th I was at 180 kph (not sure what that is in MPH... ) and started to get vibration in the car, so I dropped off... was about 5 cars ahead of him at that point anyway : D

then I put my car in for an inspection/tune at Toyota to see what all they would spot for me (they spotted nothing except the spark plugs were submerged in oil, the wires were shot and the motor should run.. lol). Amazing they didnt spot the cracked hoses, the leaking coolant line, the missing vacuum line (they didnt put it back on).. so.. obviously.. they wont see my car again, I will just do it myself. But during that race.. my whole top of my motor had over a litre of oil on it.. so.. not bad

The last race though was a STI.. rolling start as well. Not sure of the year because I am not terribly familiar with these cars, but at 160 kph.. I was about a car and a half behind him and he was slowly increasing that. We ran out of road, so I dont know his top end or if I could have caught up to him.. but I still have a plain stock 7mGTE with cracked hoses..

Just goes to show you... the beast that is Supra just doesnt really like being dominated.

I wouldn't worry too much about your subwoofer in the back, if anything that will add traction for off the line.
