Antenna issues:
My antenna was stuck in the down position I could hear the motor trying to push it up but it would not go... Told my friend about this and he though it would be a good idea to pull it up without telling me and now it wont go down... it can't be pushed down... How do I remove it to install a new one?

After removing the outer cover I removed the chrome cap where the internal nylon cable is wound. Found it to be jam packed with rust and rubbish, cleaned most of it out with a screwdriver and then ground the rest out with a dremel grinder. If you try this wear a glove in the hand that’s holding the cap the heat from the grinding transmits through the thin steel very quickly. Reassembled with grease and now it retracts fully, found this link with photo's after I did mine may be of some use.
