i think i am probably go with the 7m, i think i should wait at least till my engine gets near to death. it has 143,000 miles, how hard is it to put a 7mgte in, and what else will i need to add to the car for it to be compatable

Check out 4cefed.com and click on NA->T Turbo Conversion info. That'll tell you pretty much everything you need. As for information on how to put it in, search. I'm doing the same thing soon and I just searched through 142 pages looking for things I may have overlooked. Good luck with it. And save as much money as possible. So you may have to rely on your current engine for a little longer. It's always better to have more money than what you would normally shoot for. Start researching prices of the engine for the best deals. A lot of places are running out of them now. Start joining a few other forums as well and ask around.
