What car you got?? N/A or turbo? Do you mean lots of smoke out of the tailpipe, or lots of blowby out of the oil fill cap ?? or both ??

Yes, they tend to go bad. They are fairly cheap. I saw them on a website for under $30. I just forgot where the website was. Ill try to find it and post it up. Now if thats not ur problem, and you have a turbo and ur stock, oil is a common thing in the IC pipes and not something you should worry about unless its excessive. But if you think its a problem, just install a catch can.

I believe my valve covers also need to be replaced. Either that or some other crazy oil leak coming from the valve cover area . I am turbo as well.
I am an ameature, would I be able to install new valve covers with a few buddies who have more experience working on cars? And if you could please do post that site for the cheap valve covers. |
