Default Clutch problems in a 88

Just got this piece, so much ahs gone wrong with it, now the clutch doesnt work.
The pedal doesnt come back from the floor , maybe only about 3 inches, and doesnt open enough to alow me to put it in to gear, any ideas ?

I have put oil in the master cylinder, im thinking maybe the slave but not sure. the master was dry so maybe some air or dirt got in and pluged the slave or a valve somewhere any help woudl be good

Did you bleed the clutch?

Hate to dig up an old thread like this... well maybe i dont hate to since it could be useful to someone.

I had this exact same problem just now on my '86.5 N/T. I would press the clutch and there would be no resistance, and it would not come back up off the floor. I have had a slow leak somewhere for a while (its kind of wet down there by the petal) Apparently I let it get TOO low, and some air got in there, because air can compress so easily, i wasnt getting any pressure in the system. I just pumped the clutch with my hand about 50 times (or more) until i could feel pressure again, that means the bubbles got worked out. Add more fluid and you are good to go (until it all leaks out again)

Old supras and their damn annoying leaks.
