Clutch problems in a 88

[G-string]

Just got this piece, so much ahs gone wrong with it, now the clutch doesnt work.
The pedal doesnt come back from the floor , maybe only about 3 inches, and doesnt open enough to alow me to put it in to gear, any ideas ?

I have put oil in the master cylinder, im thinking maybe the slave but not sure. the master was dry so maybe some air or dirt got in and pluged the slave or a valve somewhere any help woudl be good
