The 7M is already a relatively long stroke engine.

Your best bet is to boreout for more displacement, the 7m is a VERY long stroke, look at the redline. Personnaly I don't think boreing is worth it with these engines, you can already produce a pile of horses with simple forced induction, intake, and exhaust mods.

Take a look at this kit here.
http://www.www.importperformancepart...s_toyota2.html
For the price they are asking you could probably do a full 2JZ-GTE swap over.
The claimed increase in power though looks good for both engines.

To increas the stroke (the amount the piston moves up and down in the cylinder). This is done by replacing the crankshaft. It increases the displacement of the engine and (usually) the power output.

The downsides are:
- Can lower the max rpm (all other factors being equal)
- Can make the engine worse for turbo charging (not sure of the reason, honestly).
