supra turbo mk3 tuning

hi, just bought my first supra its a 89 turbo ,but am looking for more but reliable power could anyone tell me what the most power I could get using a stock turbo,panel filter ,3inch full exhaust system, I was hoping for between 280 to 300 hp and am wondering if the standard pistons, rods,bolts etc would be ok for this power .what would be the best way to turn the boost up slightly on the turbo do I need a new ecu or would the stock unit be ok chipped ,hope you can help thanks.dale
