plannin' heavy mods

got a door shave kit about half way in. full open exhaust. plumbing line lock and a dry ice cool can. problem is i have an auto w/ a 1g. runs strong but i can do a lot better. found a guy w/ 1jz & 2jz motors. another guy has a 2jz 5 speed. just wandering if that combo will go in w/ not too much hassle. not too familiar w/ imports (domestics in my case) but i work old school and would like to learn all i can.

well.......since you have an mk3 it'll be a big hassle getting the 2jz into the car.....then 1jz will not be as hard, since it was made for that chassis.

thanks for the advice. the only thing i need to do now is find a 1jz tranny. the motor is going for cheap so i got lots left over for a full rebuild. i love this car cause its pretty unique over here. everybody and his brother has a skyline. i love goin to the drifts and the locals act like they've never seen one sideways in a turn! its a heap right now. modding a roll cage and everything else so its always barely driveable. the targa top is great. do you have any pictures of your ride? id love to see it. thanks again. oki' 92

yah.......the trannys are the same.......no i don't have pics but i am painting my car soon so i'll put some pics up of that. I love putting my mk3 sideways too.....ppl around here drive lifted trucks and look at me like i'm an idiot.
