i wouldnt worry about it, toyota made that to warn owners when thier taillight blows, that was a great idea except , i dont think you can reset that sensor, i've been looking for ways to do that ever since i got my car

im jus gonna change the blulb blue since its always on , so at least it will look
nice on my dash

this is the first car that i drove that had this, this is the only car that i know that have this,, people have got by for decades without knowing that their tailights are out, you'll jus get a honk from other drivers that passes you telling you to replace it

good luck hopefully u wont get rear-ended if your lights go out
best of luck to you bro, knock on wood

Replace the taillight failure relay. Its a yellow box under the drivers side taillight. Either that, or a taillight is out, or someone did the taillight conversion and didnt replace it with the 89+ relay.

Default Leaky gaskets?

Mine comes on after the car is washed. My Taillight gaskets are dried out so water gets in there and the light comes on after the first time I put the brakes on. It will go back off after its dried out. Im also going to change that relay when I get one from a junk yard cause I still get a momentary flash in the daytime with the lights off and my stereo trim light momentarily comes on too when the brakes are applied. First off though are new gaskets.
