Doesnt matter. The 3kgt and the stealth are pretty much the same cars in their own respects. And I'm pretty sure he posted those pics to show similarity. They used to call the MKIIIs a Toyota 3000gt in Japan. Makes you think doesnt it? It looks like a newer body and interior style of a MKIII. Except AWD or FWD.

Better to meditate or have a beer before posting

Like I said, I love my car, and plan on keeping it for a very long time. Its a pleasure to drive. But, as you may have (or not) noticed, I NEVER have to swear, or call anyone an idiot. Those ways of communication speak "volumes" about the knowledge, age, and experience of the speaker. I just have lots of car experience....40 years to be precise. And I have lots of experience researching the facts, too. And....we are talking about MKIIIs, not MKIVs. MKIIIs vs F50 Ferrari ?? Specs (The 4.7litre V12 engine was tuned to generate around 750bhp, stock) Engine type: 4.7 L (4699 cc/286 in?) V12 Bore: 85 mm (3.30 in) Stroke: 69 mm (2.72 in) Power: 513 hp (383 kW) at 8500 rpm Torque: 347 ft·lbf (470 N·m) at 6500 rpm Wheelbase: 2581 mm (101.6 in) Length: 4481 mm (176.4 in) Height: 1120 mm (44.1 in) Width: 1986 mm (78.2 in) Curb weight: 1229 kg (2710 lb) Top speed: 325 km/h (202 mph) 0-60 mph (97 km/h): 3.7 s 1-100 mph (161 km/h): 7.2 s 1/4 mile: 11.1 s And the mods we are discussing are HP increase mods, so 1/4 mile times are very relevant to HP mods. Your followup post was...."sry about bein in a bad mood just got out of work and the boss was an a-hole do not mean to be offensive"........ I don't get offended. I know what I know. And...I don't even like the 3kgt...its a pain to get in & out of. But I would have the F50 because it 'looks' so kool.

0-60 times
Here
http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/...990/index.html I have driven many corvettes, from a 1955, to a 2004, and they all are fun. They 'feel' fast, even if if you get beat. I don't like getting in and out as a daily driver. http://www.albeedigital.com/supercou...0-60times.html

And no, I am not comparing it to a car made in the mid 90s. My car was made in 92, and a 91 Stealth would look the exact same way. You're not really helping yourself by saying he was talking about 3000GTs, as the first gen 3000GT looks much more aggressive and exotic compared to a first gen Stealth. The interiors are identical. |

"Rather drive that than some swapped Honda I see 10 times a day..."
come on, lets keep hondas out of this, they are good cars. They have good numbers on them, only flaw is FWD. If they were RWD, then, you could do a nice vs match with them. Even still with fwd you can (more so on the integras (honda owned)). I like the mk3 and think for what it does, it's a great car. PEace........... |
