how is clutch release bearings i have same mine clutch needs replacing push clutch pedal and see if it is still making a noise

Sounds expensive! LIke the earlier post, check your trans fluid. Cams should be completely quiet, but it could be an excessory like you Oxy pump or powersteering pump. It could even be something rubbing against your flywheel. Maybe someone put playing cards on your spokes......;-}.

The point being, it should not whine or complain unless it needs some attention somewhere.

My trans used to whine like crazy in second gear. Later, when I was taking out my engine, I tried to drain the trans and there was absolutely no fluid in it.

Ya im going to check that. What do you guys reccomend for refilling it? I was thinking STP???

I'd recommend RedLine MT-90. But its pretty expensive.
