Default Couple of Stupid Questions??

Ok, i know this is going to sound stupid but, i cant figure this out for the life of me. I have had my 7mgte motor out of the car for about 8 months now. I cant remember alot of this stuff...... I know, i screwed up when i pulled it, but i was anxious to get it done, now im 8 months, $5,000 and its not running, YET. So, from what i think, the pcv valve goes in the center of the head, on the back plug right?? Well, what will actually happen if i just put a regular plug in there and eliminate the pcv valve all together?? Another one is, i cant quite ready my door sticker, so how do i actually find out if i have a LSD rear end? and what trans? Its a 87 turbo manual, is it the r154 no matter what?? I dont, know, thats why im asking you guys. So anyways, all help is deeply appreciated. One more thing, does anyone have a good picture of all the vacuum lines, i am dredding that day to come. So many of them.. THanks again guy, i love this site/forum..

I have heard of people replacing the PCV with breathers ,this also keeps down the goo factor in the throttle body.

On my car the differential cover clearly states the LSDedness and to use LSD compliant gear oil.

Don't know much about the tranny's yet.Just owned it for 4 days

The trans is definitely an R154. Easy way to tell if it's a LSD, do a burn out and look at the tire marks. If there are 2 marks, then it is. If you dont want to do that, then jack up the rear real quick and spin one of the back tires, if they both spin in the same direction, it's a LSD. If they spin opposite, then it's not.
