Does anyone know for sure
If there's any diffrence between the pre89 And post89 ecu's? Cuz I am looking to buy a standalone for my mk3 And while I was looking at the catalog They only had the ff: 93-98 twin turbo 93-98 non turbo 89-92 turbo I was wondering why ddnt the pre89 cars have any available? Can anybody enlighten me with this subject

The difference is that the 1986.5-1988 Supras have the yellow plugs and the 1989-1992 Supras have gray plugs. If you have the 1986.5-1988 Style, then I would just switch the engine wiring harness and ecu from a 89-92 Supra that has gray plugs. Hope this helps.

The auto ECU is fine with a manual transmission.
