The wireing harness for your turbo or 7m motor will not work and I am not sure how you would adapt it. If you buy the clip you will get a motor, tranny, 1JZGTE wireing harness and everything. Most of the time if someone sells a motor and tranny combo they will include the harness if they dont it is not a good idea. I have seen motor tranny go for like 800 to a grand but that isnt bad really. Like I said it isnt a decision to take lightly because it is a big investment but with my motor problems I had before I bought the clip I wanted to get away from 7m's. Now I am gonna buy a second car with a 7MGTE and a 5spd because I wanna see both worlds. Look on ebay and on places like rims and things and stuff like that because they have good deals on 7m's and 1JZ's. I did a lot of research before I bought mine and 1900 for the clip wasnt bad when you look at some other guys prices. As for the mount deal there is a difference in the cross member the round style mounts, their flanges they sit on sit lower down closer to the cross member like an inch lower. The motor you had yes would work with round mounts in a pre 89 but the motor will actually sit higher.
