Default K&N filter

My 1986.5 NA supra is totally stock but I was thinking of getting a few things for it one being a K&N air filter. Is that just a stupid decision? Should I just keep the damn car how it is because the air filter won't do crap?

Dude, You'll be surprised how big a difference a stock k&n gets you.

Seriously.

Here we go again....

A K&N drop in filter will net you better power than an FIPK unless you make some modifications. Why? The drop in uses the stock air box which pull cooler air in from out side of the engine compartment. The FIPK pulls hot air in from with in the engine compartment. If you go with a conical filter either build a box around it or extend the piping so it places the air filter under the passenger headlight.

Yea, i was sleeping too until my dad called me and told me to help him move "some" tile. "Some" tile turned out to be 600 lbs of it. Now I'm awake against my will and can't go back to sleep. Lol.
