Im wondering who has done this and any details or tips on how to do this myself Ive heard some people replacing them by going under the car and others remove the intake manifold which is a pita and im trying to avoid. well im going to try and do it tomorrow hoipefully its not to difficult

I'm gonna do mine too soon, replaced the wiring and it didn't help, so now i'll do the sensors.
Since i'll be doing the lexus AFM and injectors swap i'll have the intake partly disassembled anyway so might as wel go from the top. |

Assuming you have a 7M-GTE it will be moderately hard. The front knock sensor is somewhat easy to put the connector on it. The second one near the back of the motor is pretty damn hard but not impossible to put on without taking anything off. I've done it. You wont be able to see the connector so you will have to do that one by touch alone without taking it off. I did the front one from the top of the engine bay and the back one from under the car.
