if its a money problem you can have any half decent exhaust shop build you a hard pipe set for about $200
and i think your 02 problelly fine it sounds to me like the iac valve ...check the plug in...

the test pipe only replaces the second cat there is one made into the down pipe so you can still keep it street legal depending on where you live and who you know

the way to go would be a simple 6-8psi turbo kit for the 7mge....a 7mgte swap would work but you'd need more money and the trans on them are different. good luck and let us know what you do ie pics
