well the cvar is originally manual, so im pretty sure its not a porblem that would arise out of conversion. My transmission had been wearing out, being that its an 83 and therefore it was 20+ years...

and from my experience from welding cracks in the back hatch deck, its very easy to just melt away the spot you're welding rather than getting the metal to stcik to itself since its such thin metal....

i used a shower curtain rod to hold up the hood while rebuilding the engine, i now have brand new struts but didnt get em until the very end of the job. just got some hatch struts the other day too...

What does this switch do?

i have an 83 supra and parallel to the handbrake is 2 switches, one of which, closer towards the back, controls the automatic locks, the other switch closer towards the gearshift... well, i flip it...

I got the later model large decal but im gonna put it on my 83 anyway once I refinish the deck cuz its still a decal and it would be too hard and expensive to try and find an 83 in good enough...
